Hope and Helps

Hope and Helps Ministry is happy to announce the opening and dedication of HOPE AND HELPS EDUCATION AND FEEDING CENTRE - KENYA.  This historic project has started now with 85 orphans ranging in age from two to sixteen. 

All of these children are in great need.  They will be given free education, clothing, shelter, food and medical care.  We are asking that you join us in sending assistance and about all pray for prayer for these little ones.

April 2009 -  Our 18th bore well was completed in a village in Buttaigudem Mandal, W.G. District, India.  Our India pastor will be able to use this bore well to bring not only CLEAN, FRESH, PURE WATER to the individuals in his church, but LIFE-GIVING water to the Hindu, Muslim and Buddhist men and woman who will also benefit from this well.  These bore wells are tearing down “religious” barriers and reaching souls for the Kingdom of God, because our Evangelists and Pastors also introduce them to the “Water of Life” Himself, Jesus Christ.

The cost to put in a bore well and a marble headstone with the name of the sponsor and a scripture you choose in English and Telegu on Christian-owned land in a remote village is $1,500.  If an individual, group, or church would like to sponsor a well, please contact us at our e-mail address:  hopeandhelps@embarqmail.com.

Hope and Helps Ministry has published a book on leprosy.  If you would like to order a book - the cost is $12.00 plus s&h.  All proceeds from the sale of this book entitled “Children of Glory” will be sent to the leper colonies in India that we are assisting.  There are many great needs in our leper colonies for medicines, clothing, food, specially designed shoes (to assist a leper in walking), canes, tricycles, better housing and of course, bore-wells.  If they are able, the lepers are also being taught a trade such as sewing.  Many, many lepers have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and now enjoy the peace that surpasses all understanding even though they live everyday with the stigma of leprosy.  

1 Samuel 2:6 -  The Lord kills and makes alive; He brings down to the grave and brings up.  The Lord makes poor and makes rich; He brings low and lifts up.  He raises the poor from the dust, and lifts the beggar from the ash heap, to set them among princes and makes them inherit the throne of glory.

April 2009 –  We are sending down a team of men from Church Of  The Valley located in Strasburg, VA to the Christian Appalachian Project located in Hagerhill, KY.    As many of you are aware, Kentucky has been hard hit with winter storms.  Thousands of the poor of this nation are without power and/or they are finding it extremely difficult to navigate through the mountains to get food for their families. 

C.A.P. covers 13 States from Southern New York to Mississippi.
